As the cold whipped our noses and toes the sun gradually came up and it turned out to be a fabulous day.  Our new red scarves, courtesy of Drillmaster Mary, also came in handy.  Didn't we all look cute in our Santa hats -- with our sunglasses we looked like incognito elves. After a visit to the nice neighbor's WC we were ready.   We started way down by St. Paul's School but after practicing our routines, including our new spontaneous "Daria's Dance", we were soon at the corner of Grosse Pointe Blvd. and Fisher Rd. -- the Start.  Couldn't believe how quickly we marched that 1.2 miles, and at the end, our chills had turned to sweat.  What a workout.

!
We were a definite crowd-pleaser!!!
