| We had an absolutely fabulous day for a parade -- sun shining and temperature in the 50's. The great weather also helped bring record crowds. It was especially fun this year for the applause wasn't muffled by gloves or mittens. Don't even think the cable station was upset we were holding up the parade with our routines; showed three of them on the cable program. The local newspapers also appreciated our uniqueness with pictures in the Grosse Pointe News and the front page of the Grosse Pointe Times!! |
