St. Clair Shores Memorial Day Parade
May 27, 2001
Rain may have dampened the ground but it didn't dampen our enthusiasm.  The parkas kept us dry and the submarine sandwiches kept us happy as we waited to begin our march in the St. Clair Shores Parade.  Thank goodness we didn't have a torrential downpour and the showers let up as we started our routine on Harper Ave.  The rain did keep away a lot of our prospective fans but many still appreciated our fine precision footwork.
One of the highlights of the day was seeing the Fred Hill Drill Team.  We're still not sure if they actually knew who we were but they gave us a nice wave while taking a break from their marching.

We were lucky to have our line-up spot next to some shelter which became our picnic area and rain respite.  Here we are chowing down with our new friends. The clowns knew a good thing when they saw us!!
Thanks Sarah and Kelly for carrying the banner for us on such a rainy day!
